Training & Ongoing Support
You don’t need to have touched a torsion spring to own a Servo Garage Doors territory. You need to be willing to follow a written standard, learn the trade’s vocabulary, and trust a system that has produced 18,000+ documented jobs since 2015. Our training exists to take someone with zero door experience to a point where they can quote a spring replacement confidently, read a photo record like a technician, and never once say “call for a quote.” That last part is Clause 1 of The Haven Standard, and we hold every new owner to it from day one.
Initial Training
Training begins before you sign anything. We want you to see the documentation system first, because that is the business. Week one covers the Haven Standard clause by clause: written price before work starts, named technician on the way, photo evidence on every job, no door upsell. You’ll learn why Clause 4 exists: the founding rule from 2015 that the customer sees the failed part, photographed, before anyone quotes a replacement. Marcus Deller built Servo on watching a homeowner get sold a whole opener when a $40 logic board would have done it. That rule is not negotiable, and you’ll know how to enforce it.
From there, training splits into the trade itself and the operation. On the trade side, you’ll spend time with working technicians learning the difference between a torsion spring and an extension spring, what a worn cable actually looks like in a photo, and how to read the eight major brands we service: LiftMaster, Chamberlain, Genie, Clopay, Amarr, Wayne Dalton, Craftsman, and Raynor. You’re not expected to repair a door yourself by the end. You’re expected to know when a technician’s photo shows a failed spring versus a rusted bracket, and to explain that difference to a customer in plain English. On the operation side, you’ll learn the dispatch software, the photo documentation flow, the hiring criteria for background-checked and uniformed technicians, and the local marketing fundamentals that fill a schedule. No prior garage door experience is required. Prior willingness to follow a checklist is.
Launch Support

The weeks around opening day are where most new owners get anxious, and where the system does the heavy lifting. We help set up your local presence the right way before your first truck rolls: your Google Business Profile, your service area boundaries, your pricing page structure, your review request flow. The pricing page matters because our promise is that the price is on the page, not hidden behind a phone call. We help you publish real price ranges in dollars for your market, so customers who research before they contact actually find you.
On the lead side, you’ll be connected to the brand’s answering protocol: a live person on every call, 24/7, with a named technician and an on-the-way text. We walk you through your first ten jobs from quote to photo record. You’ll sit in on how a written scope gets assembled, how a second opinion on a competitor’s estimate gets handled, and how the 365-Day Done Right Promise gets honored when a repair isn’t right. By the time your first month closes, you should be able to run the operation without asking what to do next. If you can’t, that’s what the next section is for.
Before
AfterOngoing Support
You don’t graduate and get handed a key. The support continues for as long as you own the territory. Here’s what that looks like:
- Field coaching: regular ride-alongs and job reviews where a technician’s photo record gets evaluated against the Haven Standard, clause by clause.
- Marketing system updates: local ad creative, landing page guidance, and review response templates adjusted as Google changes what it rewards.
- Vendor relationships and buying power: access to national pricing on springs, openers, and parts across all eight major brands, which keeps your written quotes honest and your margins intact.
- Technology and dispatch support: the software stack that handles scheduling, photo documentation, and on-the-way texts, maintained and updated centrally so you don’t run an IT department.
- National brand campaigns: awareness work that sends customers looking for the Haven Standard by name, including the Free Second Opinion offer and the documented photo record promise.
- Live help line: when a situation genuinely stumps you or a customer pushes back on a written scope, there’s a person to call who has seen it before.
You’re Never Alone

Servo Garage Doors is built so the documentation does the supervising and the training does the preparing. One call to (970) 536-1724 gets you the full picture, in writing, before anyone asks you to commit.
