The Promise, in One Paragraph
If the work we did on your garage door isn’t holding up within 90 days of your service date, call us. We’ll schedule a return visit at no charge, look at what’s happening, and make it right. No form to fill out, no receipt to dig up, no fee to trigger the visit. We have the job on file. This is a plain-English commitment, not a legal document with conditions buried in the margins, and it applies to every job we perform under The Haven Standard.
What’s Covered
- The workmanship on any repair or installation we performed – if something we did fails within 90 days, the return visit and the fix are on us.
- Parts we supplied and installed: if a part we sourced and fitted fails within the 90-day window, we replace it at no additional charge.
- A return visit at no charge – scheduling it doesn’t cost anything and doesn’t commit you to more paid work before we’ve looked at what’s wrong.
- A full re-do when a repair doesn’t hold – if the first fix didn’t stick, we don’t patch the patch; we redo the work correctly.
- Site clean-up on the return visit, the same as on the original job – we leave the space the way we found it.
- The photo documentation, updated on the return visit – you’ll have a clear record of what we found the second time and what we did about it, per Clause 4 of The Haven Standard.
What Isn’t Covered

- Damage that happened after our visit – a storm, a vehicle impact, or anything else outside of the work we performed isn’t something we can stand behind, but we’re glad to come out and take a look.
- Work performed by another company after ours – if a second technician has been into the same mechanism, we can’t know what changed, and the promise doesn’t extend to their work.
- Parts the customer supplied – we can only stand behind materials we sourced ourselves; if you brought the part and we installed it, the workmanship is still covered but the part itself isn’t.
- Normal wear on equipment we didn’t install or repair – springs, cables, and rollers age on their own timeline; this promise covers what we touched, not the whole door.
- Problems we flagged during the visit that you chose to defer – if we documented an issue, photographed it, and noted it in your job record, and you decided to wait on it, a failure in that area isn’t covered (though we’ll still come look, and we’d never say “told you so”).
- Cosmetic wear that has no effect on how the door operates – surface scuffs from daily use fall outside the scope of a workmanship promise.
Before
AfterHow to Use the Promise
Step 1: Call (970) 536-1724 or book online
A live person answers every call, including evenings and weekends. There’s no automated queue to navigate, and you won’t be asked to leave a message and wait.
Step 2: Tell us the job and roughly when it was done
Give us your name and what the original job was – spring replacement, opener repair, whatever it was. We pull the job record on our end; you don’t need a receipt, an invoice number, or a confirmation email.
Step 3: We schedule the return visit
We’ll give you a real time window and the name of the technician coming out, plus a text when they’re on the way. Same process as the original visit, because that’s the standard on every job.
Step 4: We make it right
The technician will review the photo record from the original visit, assess what’s happening now, and correct the work at no charge. You’ll receive an updated photo record of the return visit before they leave.
Timing

The 90-day window runs from the date of your original service – not from when you noticed the problem, not from when you called. If something comes to your attention the day after the 90 days are up, call anyway. We look at those situations on their own merits, and we’re not in the business of declining a return visit over a calendar technicality. Each location operating under The Haven Standard is independently owned and operated, which means the local crew is responsible for honoring this promise directly – not a distant call center, not a holding company. The crew that did the work is the crew that comes back.
Questions About the Promise
If something about your job isn’t right – or you just want to understand what’s covered before you book – call (970) 536-1724. A real person picks up, the job record is right there, and we’ll tell you plainly whether what you’re describing falls under the promise. No runaround, no transfers, no hold music that loops for ten minutes while you reconsider your life choices.
